Tony Shaw O.B.E.

Tony runs his own coaching and consultancy business. Until recently he was Chief Executive of the NHS Independent Reconfiguration Panel. The Panel advises the Secretary of State on contested proposals for changes to local health services.

Before this he was Head of Career Management for the NHS. His previous health service experience includes appointments in London, Nottingham and Birmingham and for many years he was Chief Executive of Southampton and South West Hampshire Health Authority.

He has a special interest in the international comparison of healthcare delivery systems and has contributed to national work on Leadership, Priority Setting and Drugs Misuse.
