Comprehensive Package

The LINks ACADEMY comprehensive package offers your Host and LINk a complete package covering the establishment of LINks, understanding social care and the NHS, and to working effectively with Scrutiny Committees. These one-day workshops have been designed as complimentary levels of development for LINks stakeholders. Each level builds on the last one and provides a comprehensive training, learning and development package. Additional training is available on request.

Foundation Workshop - an introduction

Explore how the concept of public engagement came to be known as LINks, the unique positioning of LINks across Social Care and the NHS and what the future holds for public involvement.

Level 1 Workshop - the organisations

Level 1 within the LINks ACADEMY offers participants a wider understanding of duties and responsibilities of the NHS, Local Government and Social Care, the fit with public engagement and the responsibilities of a LINk.

Level 2 Workshop - the culture

Level 2 examines culture of partner organisations. You will gain knowledge of the different cultures and organisations and explore what they require from each other to be successful. You will also investigate the new regulatory framework and the changes this requires of you.

Level 3 Workshop - the relationships

This workshop is designed to give you some practical tools for using in your meetings and with your stakeholders. For a LINk to build capacity and be successful it needs to learn how to effectively influence, learn together and trouble shoot.
